The Junior Instructor position is an unpaid volunteer opportunity to gain experience teaching and supervising young students while learning and having fun in the ocean environment. Each day, Junior Instructors will assist our Marine Science staff or Sailing staff in all aspects of the program. We are looking for mature youth and young adults, ages 15 through 17, with contagious energy and excellent team leadership skills. Applicants must be motivated, must be able to work within a team as well as individually, and must have a passion for working with children.

This volunteer position aligns with NESS summer programming, which runs weekly for 10 weeks starting 6/17/2024, ending on 8/23/2024.
